Bio And Credentials

Jacquelyn has over 10 years experience as a personal trainer, and over 15 years as a group exercise instructor. She enjoys her interaction with her clients, continually learning from them also. Clients appreciate Jacquelyn's broad knowledge base, her multi-disciplinary approach, and her attention to form and the quality of the work done. Her direction and guidance is specific and encouraging. She knows that simple exercises can become part of your day and truly make a difference in your life.

People feel at ease in her presence and enjoy her sense of fun. She is a friendly, outgoing woman who has a positive, sunny outlook on life that is contagious.

She obtained her degree in physical education from the University of Calgary; with special training in outdoor pursuits and dance. She is a certified Medical Exercise Specialist through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals. She is also a certified personal fitness trainer through the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association.

She has guided on the Nahanni River, and the Chilkoot hiking trail in Alaska. She enjoys being in nature and likes to hike, camp, and ocean kayak. She has danced all her life, and still does today as a hobby. She spent more than a year dancing with Calgary's Decidedly Jazz Dance.
